Maintenance

Cozy's carries out its own maintenance in its own purpose built workshop. The vehciles are rountinly maintained to the highest of standards.

The workshop is equipped with state of the art VOSA approved equipment, such as:

Our maintenance team has more then forty years experience between them, we also have an apprentice system in place with the local college.

To keep our high standards we follow the official VOSA Guild to Maintaining Roadworthiness very closely. The main points are:

All drivers carry out a walk around check everyday for their vehicle

The checks include but not limited to, external conditions, lights, tyres,

wheel fixing, bodywork. Report any defects or symptoms of defects

that could prevent the safe operation of the vehicle.

Each vehicle has a full inspection carried out on it every 4 weeks

All inspections are planned out 12 months in advance

All reports are kept for 15 months

All driver defect and the safety inspections reports are checked on a regular

basis by the engineering director to insure compliance with the VOSA

requirements and our own internal quality systems with such regular

inspections, the maintenance team can also spot any possible issues or faults

that can be acted on before becoming a defect

Similar to the MOT required for a car, each vehicle is required to be inspected

by VOSA at one of their testing stations. For the year ending 2007,

Cozys have a 90% pass rate at first presentation for testing.
